Axiom vs GMGN

GMGN and Axiom are the two biggest trading terminals by fees right now, and over the last 30 days they took almost exactly the same amount: about $53 million each, by DefiLlama's count. They even charge the same 1% a trade. Past that they split on nearly everything that matters, from who holds your keys to whether copy trading runs by itself. Code TradeNow takes Axiom's side of the fee down to 0.8%.

Axiom Trade Invite Code: TradeNow

The Axiom Trade invite code is TradeNow. Axiom calls it a referral code. Enter it when you sign up and your trading fee drops by 20% for the life of the account, from 1% to 0.8% a trade.

If you are looking for an Axiom Trade invite code, use TradeNow. Type it into the referral field on the sign-up screen, or open axiom.trade/@tradenow and it is filled in for you. It is one of the most used Axiom codes, and it still works.

Axiom or GMGN: which is better?

It depends on what you need more. GMGN is the stronger tool if you want copy trading that runs on its own, buys triggered by posts on X, Telegram bots and native phone apps. Axiom is the stronger tool if you want to hold your own keys, pay less per trade through a referral discount and cashback, and trade perps and prediction markets from the same account.

Both charge 1% a trade, so the difference in price comes from what each one gives back.

Fees and What Comes Back

The sticker price is identical. GMGN's docs set 1% per trade "with no additional charges", and Axiom's base fee is also 1%. What differs is the discount and the rebate. Axiom's fee drops to 0.8% for accounts opened with TradeNow, and its cashback returns 5% of your fees for every multiplier level, up to 25% at the top tier, paid in SOL. GMGN pays referrers 10% to 30% of their referrals' fees, but its docs describe no discount for the person being referred and no cashback for traders.

On $10,000 of volume that means $100 in fees on GMGN, and on Axiom $80 with TradeNow before cashback, about $76 at the lowest tier and $60 at the highest. Network fees and tips go to the chain on both.

Who Holds the Keys

This is the sharpest difference between the two. Axiom creates a non-custodial wallet through Turnkey at sign-up, and the key can be exported whenever you like, so you can walk away with your funds and your wallet. On GMGN, signing in with Telegram or Phantom sets up what its docs call a multi-chain custodial wallet account, and private keys cannot be exported on any chain, including wallets you imported. GMGN's co-founder has said the rule came after users reported thefts following key exports.

Getting money out of GMGN runs through its website only, behind Google Authenticator and an address whitelist, with a three-hour hold after the whitelist changes and a 24-hour hold after 2FA is reset. That makes some thefts harder, and it also means GMGN, not you, has the final say over your wallet.

Copy Trading and X Sniping

GMGN wins this part. Its copy trading is automatic on Solana: after logging in with Telegram you pick a wallet, buy a fixed amount or match its buys up to a cap, and choose whether to sell when it sells, never sell automatically, or exit on take-profit and stop-loss levels. Filters cover market cap, liquidity, token age, burned liquidity, the size of the wallet's buy and a blacklist of up to 20 tokens. You can run ten copy tasks, and a task pauses itself after three failed trades in a row. A Lightning Mode is about two seconds faster and can execute a trade twice.

SnipeX goes a step further, buying automatically when an X account you chose posts a contract address. Axiom offers neither. Its tracker shows tracked wallets' trades live and its tweet monitor surfaces posts, and every copy is a one-click buy you make yourself; the copy trading page explains how that works and why it can be the safer habit with memecoins.

Chains

The two overlap on Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Ethereum, HyperEVM and Robinhood Chain. GMGN's list from July 2026 adds Tron, Monad, MegaETH and X Layer; Axiom adds Ink and Arc. Robinhood Chain is where the money is for GMGN at the moment, about 60% of its fees over the last 30 days. It is also where the two tools differ most in execution: GMGN says it has no anti-MEV or tip setting there yet, while Axiom routes launch orders through its Express Lander, as the Robinhood Chain page covers.

Track Record

Neither has a clean sheet. Axiom's worst moment came in February 2026, when it admitted, after an exposé by ZachXBT, that a team member had used customer-support tools to look up users' wallets; it cut that access and said keys and funds were never exposed. A Pump.fun update in August 2025 also froze selling on Axiom for a few hours.

GMGN first called October 2025 hack reports false rumours, then its co-founder confirmed that phishing through a fake third-party token site had hit about 107 users and promised full compensation; SlowMist's founder said the attackers took over logged-in sessions and drained more than $700,000. In 2024 honeypot tokens appeared in GMGN's trending lists, as they did on DEXTools and DEX Screener, and in June 2025 its X account was suspended for a time.

How Big Each One Is

Fees paid by traders, from DefiLlama on 24 September 2026. GMGN's data starts in December 2023, Axiom's in January 2025.

All time$806.1M$327.4M
Best month$92.7M, May 2025$44.6M, Oct 2025

GMGN has been around longer, yet Axiom has taken more than twice its all-time fees in about 20 months. Right now they are level, with GMGN's recent growth coming mostly from Robinhood Chain.

Which One to Use

Choose GMGN if hands-off copy trading, sniping from X posts, Telegram bots or a native phone app are the point, and you are comfortable with keys you cannot export. Choose Axiom if you want a wallet you fully control, a lower fee with cashback on top, and perps and prediction markets beside the memecoin feed. Plenty of traders keep both open, which costs nothing but a second login.
